Education Guidelines & Policies
1. Age Requirement

All Fine-Tooned U classes, workshops, coaching sessions, and training events are designed exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older to ensure a focused and mature learning environment.

2. Technical Requirements
Some classes, workshops, and coaching sessions use Google Classroom to share materials, assignments, and announcements.
Information and access details will be included in the specific class policies and reminder communications sent prior to your session.
FOR IN-PERSON PARTICIPANTS:

Bring a device capable of accessing Google Classroom (tablet, laptop, or smartphone).
FOR ONLINE PARTICIPANTS:

Maintain a stable internet connection.

Use a working webcam and ensure your face is clearly visible.

Provide adequate lighting.

Use an external microphone when applicable for clear audio quality.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they meet all technical requirements and do not experience preventable technical difficulties. Minor troubleshooting during a course, if resolved promptly, can be accommodated. Major complications caused by failing to meet these requirements cannot be accommodated.

3. Health & Professional Courtesy

Stay home if you are not feeling well (cough, congestion, sneezing, etc.).

If you are not well or unable to attend, notify us using the chat feature on this site before your scheduled session.

Be considerate to your fellow classmates—come to class prepared, respectful, and odor free.

Avoid strong fragrances such as cologne or perfume, as some classmates may be allergic.

Students presenting strong odors or exhibiting disruptive behavior may be asked to leave and are welcome back once the issue is resolved.

4. Code of Conduct
Fine-Tooned U maintains a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment for all programs, both online and in-studio.
All participants, including private coaching clients, are expected to:

Treat instructors, engineers, and fellow students with respect and professionalism.

Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

Refrain from recording or distributing class materials, discussions, or performances without written permission.

Respect the confidentiality of other participants’ work, feedback, and any private discussions during one-on-one coaching sessions.

Use discretion when bringing audition copy or materials subject to NDAs.
Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from a class or suspension from future programs without refund.
5. Recordings – For Educational Purposes Only

Personal recording of classes, workshops, or coaching sessions is not permitted unless you have received explicit permission from the instructor or coach.

If permission is granted, recordings are for your personal reference only and may not be posted, shared, or made public in any form.

Scripts and class materials are for training purposes only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used outside of class without written permission.

6. Recording & Media Policy

Classes, workshops, and coaching sessions may be recorded for safety, archival, and quality purposes.

By participating, you grant Fine-Tooned U the right to use your image (video and still images extracted from the video, no audio) for promotional materials.

By attending any class or coaching session, you consent to Fine-Tooned U using your likeness (still or video, no audio) for promotional purposes, including social media, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.

Fine-Tooned U will never use student audio recordings for promotional, advertising, or public purposes without specific written consent.

Audio recorded during sessions is used only for instructional purposes, such as safety review, feedback, and internal quality assurance.

Attendance does not guarantee auditions, employment, or work in the entertainment or voiceover industries.
