Whether you’re just starting out, refining existing characters or expanding your range in anime, animation, and video games, this course is designed to enhance your character strengths. Through comprehensive assignments and personalized feedback, you’ll uncover roles that resonate with you and challenge yourself to explore new archetypes and styles. You’ll learn classic acting techniques and receive guidance from Dorah on applying them to create your own unique characters. With over 20 years of experience as a performing arts educator, Dorah will help you strengthen your grasp on the character archetypes that align with your talents, making them distinctly your own.

MANDATORY ATTENDANCE FOR THE FIRST SESSION: Attendance at the first session is mandatory, as the course content builds upon it. If you miss the first session, you will not be able to continue with the remaining sessions, and no refunds or session credits will be provided. MISSED SESSION POLICY: If you miss any session after attending the first one, please note that there are no make-up sessions available. No refunds or credits will be provided for missed sessions. NO-SHOW POLICY: No refunds or credits will be provided for no-shows. AGE REQUIREMENT: This course is designed exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older to ensure a focused and mature learning environment. GOOGLE CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS: - Students will be required to join a Google Classroom to participate in the course. - You will be invited to the Google classroom at the start of the course. This platform will serve as the central hub for all course-related information, including homework assignments, session materials. - If you encounter any issues joining the classroom, we recommend using an email ending in @gmail.com. ONLINE VIDEO CONFERENCE VIA ZOOM REQUIREMENTS: Webcam & Light Source: Please ensure your face is clearly visible to the instructor. Microphone: Avoid using the built-in microphone on your device. A headset microphone is acceptable, but a USB or XLR microphone is preferred for the best audio quality.
